1. Important Recruitment Fraud Warning

Favnox Pharmaceuticals Private Limited (“Favnox” or the “Company”) has become aware that unauthorised persons and/or entities may falsely represent themselves as employees, representatives, consultants, recruitment partners or authorised agents of Favnox and may approach job seekers with false employment opportunities, interview invitations, appointment letters or other recruitment-related communications.

Favnox strongly cautions candidates and the general public to remain alert to recruitment fraud, employment scams and impersonation attempts. A person, email address, telephone number, social-media profile, website, document, logo, letterhead or communication that uses the Favnox name does not by itself establish that the communication is genuine.

2. Favnox’s Recruitment Commitment

Favnox’s Human Resources function is responsible for recruitment, screening, selection, training and related employee administration. Candidates should verify recruitment communications through Favnox’s official contact channels before sharing information, making commitments or taking any financial action.

Favnox may, where appropriate, engage identified and formally authorised recruitment partners for specific recruitment activities. No individual, consultant, recruitment agency or other third party is authorised to collect recruitment-related fees, security deposits or other payments from candidates on behalf of Favnox.

3. Favnox Does Not Charge Recruitment Fees

Favnox does not require job applicants to pay any recruitment, placement or employment-related fee or deposit as a condition of applying for, interviewing for, being selected for, or joining a position with Favnox.

Candidates should treat any demand for payment in the name of Favnox as a major warning sign, including requests described as:

·        registration or application fees

·        interview or processing fees

·        security or refundable deposits

·        placement or recruitment fees

·        training or background-verification fees

·        medical-examination or travel-related payments

·        equipment or joining deposits

·        payments through UPI, personal bank accounts, gift cards, vouchers or cryptocurrency

Candidates should not make any payment merely because a person claims that the payment is refundable or required for a job offer, interview, verification or joining formalities.

4. How Genuine Recruitment Communications Should Be Verified

Candidates who receive a recruitment communication should independently verify it before proceeding. Do not rely only on telephone numbers, email addresses, links or contact details supplied in the suspicious communication.

·        Check the sender’s email domain and carefully look for spelling or domain-name variations.

·        Verify the vacancy and recruitment communication through Favnox’s official website or official contact details.

·        Confirm the identity and designation of the person claiming to represent Favnox.

·        Verify any interview invitation, offer letter, appointment letter or joining instruction directly with Favnox HR.

·        If a communication appears suspicious, do not click unknown links, download unknown files or install software requested by the sender.

5. Recruitment Fraud May Occur Through Multiple Channels

Fraudulent recruitment communications may be made through email, telephone calls, SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, other social-media or messaging platforms, job portals, websites, online forms or physical documents. Candidates should exercise the same caution regardless of the communication channel.

6. Personal, Identity and Financial Information

Candidates should provide personal information only when it is reasonably required for a legitimate recruitment or employment purpose and after verifying the authenticity of the recipient.

·        Never disclose passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs, CVV numbers, internet-banking credentials or other authentication credentials to a person claiming to be a recruiter.

·        Do not share Aadhaar, PAN, passport, bank-account details or other identity/financial documents with an unverified person or third party.

·        If Favnox legitimately requests information during recruitment or onboarding, candidates should use the official channel identified by Favnox and provide only the information reasonably required.

·        Favnox will handle personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection and privacy requirements and its applicable privacy practices.

7. Common Warning Signs of Recruitment Fraud

·        A guaranteed job without a proper recruitment or interview process.

·        Pressure to make an immediate payment or transfer money to an individual account.

·        Requests for secrecy or instructions not to contact Favnox directly.

·        Unusually high salary or benefits combined with an urgent demand for payment or documents.

·        Poorly prepared or inconsistent offer/appointment documents.

·        Communication from an email domain or website that does not correspond to the official Favnox domain.

·        Requests for OTPs, passwords, UPI PINs, remote-access software or other security credentials.

·        Requests to purchase equipment, vouchers or services from a specified person or vendor as a condition of employment.

·        Refusal to permit independent verification of the recruiter or job offer.

8. What to Do If You Receive a Suspicious Recruitment Communication

·        Do not make any further payment.

·        Do not provide additional personal, identity or financial information.

·        Do not click suspicious links or install unknown applications.

·        Preserve the communication, screenshots, emails, telephone numbers, social-media profiles, documents and website links.

·        Preserve payment records, transaction references, UPI IDs or bank details used by the suspected fraudster.

·        Report the matter to Favnox using the official recruitment/fraud reporting channel.

·        Where money has been lost or an online/cyber fraud has occurred, promptly report the incident to the appropriate law-enforcement/cybercrime authority.

9. Reporting Recruitment Fraud to Favnox

Suspected recruitment fraud, impersonation or unauthorised employment communications may be reported to Favnox HR:

Email: hr@favnox.in I Contact No.: 9985555301

Candidates may provide the suspected fraudster’s name, email address, telephone/WhatsApp number, job offered, date of communication, screenshots, copies of documents, website/social-media links and details of any payment demanded or made. Do not include passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs or other authentication credentials in a complaint.

For general corporate contact, Favnox publishes info@favnox.in and its official telephone numbers on its website. Candidates should independently obtain current contact details from the official Favnox website when verifying a suspicious communication.

10. If You Have Already Paid Money

If a candidate has already transferred money or disclosed financial information in response to a suspected recruitment scam, the candidate should act promptly: contact the relevant bank/payment service, preserve transaction records, report the incident to the appropriate cybercrime/law-enforcement authority and inform Favnox. Favnox cannot reverse or guarantee recovery of payments made to unauthorised persons.

11. Legal Action

Favnox reserves the right to investigate suspected misuse of its name, identity, trademarks, documents or recruitment processes and to take appropriate legal, regulatory or other action against persons or entities involved in fraudulent recruitment activities, including reporting suspected criminal conduct to the appropriate authorities.

Fraudulent recruitment involving deception or impersonation may constitute offences under applicable Indian law, including relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and, where applicable, the Information Technology Act, 2000, in addition to other laws that may apply to the particular conduct.

12. Unauthorised Communications and Offers

Favnox is not responsible for unauthorised representations, employment offers, payment demands or other fraudulent communications made by persons or entities that are not authorised by Favnox, subject to applicable law. Candidates should independently verify any recruitment communication before relying upon it, sharing information or making any payment.

The use of the Favnox name, logo, letterhead, signature, stamp or other corporate identity in a communication does not establish its authenticity.

13. Privacy and Protection of Candidate Information

Favnox recognises that recruitment involves the handling of candidate information. Personal data collected for legitimate recruitment or employment purposes will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection laws and Favnox’s applicable privacy/data-processing practices. Candidates are encouraged to review the applicable privacy information before submitting personal data through Favnox’s official channels.

14. Relationship With Favnox Policies

This Recruitment Fraud & Employment Scam Alert is intended to provide candidate-facing guidance and does not replace Favnox’s internal HR procedures, Code of Conduct, Whistle Blower Policy, privacy/data-protection requirements or other applicable Company policies.

Recruitment-fraud reports from external candidates should ordinarily be directed to the HR reporting channel stated above. Internal ethical or misconduct concerns involving Favnox Associates may be addressed through the Company’s applicable Whistle Blower mechanism.
